We are building an AI-powered platform that makes complex concepts easy to understand through interactive, visual, and hands-on experiences. Our vision is to improve learning outcomes by enabling learners to actively engage with material rather than passively consume it. We believe this enhances understanding and better retention.

By combining generative AI with intuitive and accessible design, we seek to democratize high-quality education for learners of all ages and backgrounds. The platform will also support educators by streamlining the creation of illustrations, explanations, and coursework, allowing them to focus more on teaching and student support.

Our long-term goal is to build a scalable, equity-focused solution that enhances comprehension, increases retention, and expands access to effective learning tools—particularly for underserved communities. We're building not just a tool, but a learning companion that helps students, educators, and curious minds make sense of complex topics faster and more enjoyably.

Our Story

Xplainn began with a simple observation: learning complex concepts is harder than it needs to be. Whether it’s physics, algorithms, or foundational math, most explanations assume prior knowledge that many learners don’t yet have. As lifelong learners ourselves, we felt traditional learning tools weren’t built for diverse learning styles. Hence we set out on building a platform designed to turn abstract ideas into clear, intuitive, and engaging learning experiences.

We are immigrant founders who came to US for higher education and have experienced first hand the transformative power of learning and education. We are engineers with deep experience building large-scale distributed systems and AI-powered applications.

Our mission is to build an AI-powered companion that helps anyone understand anything. Not by replacing educators, but by empowering them. Not by replacing traditional education, but by augmenting it.
